About Bria

Bria grew up in Gunnison, Colorado as a competitive runner and cross-country skier. She was skiing around the same time as learning to walk. With parents as ultra distance athletes the motivation to get outdoors was high, but the promise of gummy bears always helped too.

Bria recently graduation from Western Colorado University where she got her masters in Education. While at Western she competed on the trail running and cross country ski teams. In 2022 she switched to ski mountaineering (skimo) taking the overall season U23 championship title, Co-ed teams' championship and U23 vertical championship. When she's not racing or teaching she enjoys rafting, waterskiing, backpacking, traveling and hanging out with her two dogs.

About Alayna

Alayna grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota, not far from Kuvetta headquarters. Growing up, Alayna was an avid runner and cross country skier who learned to ski around the time she was learning to walk. At the time, her biggest motivation was her family and the cookie she got at the end of every adventure – a prize that still drives her today.

In 2014, Alayna dug up her Midwestern roots and moved out East to attend the University of Vermont. At UVM, she studied Biochemistry while continuing her athletic pursuits as a Varsity athlete on Cross Country Skiing, Cross Country Running and Track & Field teams.

Since graduating from UVM, Alayna has continued to chase her athletic dreams as a professional cross country skier for Team Birkie.

Today, Alayna spends her time training, racing, traveling, and working for a marketing agency.

Alayna - What's your favorite Kuvetta piece?

“I love the All Day Athletic Dress. It’s something that I can wear to explore town, play soccer, or go to dinner.”

Alayna - What does it mean to you to be a Kuvetta Ambassador?

“As a Kuvetta partner, I get to share and support a community of strong women building an active lifestyle and creative mindset. And just as importantly for me, I’m proud to be working with a local, female-owned Minnesota brand.”

Alayna - What's your favorite race or competition?

“The American Birkie – I’ve been racing in some version of the Birkie for almost 15 years and I’ve had some of my best results there as well!”

Bria - What does it mean to you to be an Kuvetta Partner?

“As an Kuvetta partner I feel like proud to be a part of a community of strong women that share like goals, and active lifestyles. Indura stood out to me as it is a female owned brand that is sustainably made. I love being able to share Indura with athletes in Colorado! I look forward to seeing the growth of Indura as an inclusive brand that highlights and recognizes all different body types.”

Bria - What's your favorite Kuvetta piece?

“I love the Kuvetta jackets. They are very versatile where I can wear it to class or teaching in the classroom and then quickly change gears and wear it right into my workout.”

Favorite race or competition?

“My all-time favorite trail running race was in Austria but my favorite skimo race was the New Mexico races where every direction had breath taking views and I got to race with my dad which was very special as he got me into skimo, and we worked together during the team’s race to take the win!”
